Impetigo (School Sores)

Reyna writes: I just wanted to share with you an exciting experience I had using the oils on a stubborn infection recently. I got a bit run down and picked up impetigo (school sores) which in the past have taken weeks and several courses of antibiotics to overcome. This time I took my heart in my hand and decided to do it only with oils, so got out my ‘big guns’. My regime was 10 – 15 drops of essential oil (in a vege or gel cap and ingested). I did this 4 – 6 times a day. The oils I used was a rotating combination of Immupower, Oregano, Clove, Purification, Melrose.

In addition to ingesting oils, I applied the following oils 2 hourly topically – Melaleuca alternifolia, Lemongrass and Myrrh. By day 3, I was easing back to 3 to 4 vege caps a day.

Two ulcerated sores dried up in 5 days, and a third stubborn one took 6 days. This beats them dragging on for 6 weeks (the last time) and my consuming 4 rounds of antibiotics – love those oils!!

Artemis writes: If you are not used to ingesting oils, there is always a decision to make when faced with a situation like this. If you “hit it hard” with oils, and you are not used to it, you will likely stimulate a major detox. Often this can feel worse than the disease, and at its worst can involve vomiting, diarrhea and rashes!!!

When I started ingesting oils, I began with 1 drop the first day in a capsule, 2 drops the next day, 3 drops the third day, and so on. I built up slowly like this, so that I could work out how many drops a day was right for my body. At that time, it might have been 10 drops a day that I could build up to (and for some people it’s a lot less than that). Nowadays, I can take 80 drops in a day if I need to, without any detox symptoms.

I think there’s a lot to be said for preventative measures. Young Living’s Longevity Softgels are designed to be taken on a daily basis (1 to 2 caps a day). This gets the body used to oils, and begins the process of cleaning out the inside of cells….so that when a big “nasty” raises its head, we are more confident with tackling it with a more intensive regime of oils. Gary Young encourages us to all be on Longevity softgels at present, due to the increased radiation we are likely to be exposed to as Japan’s nuclear waste enters waterways and airways.
